The Comedy Grind

Established in February 2010, The Comedy Grind was created to provide Regina based comedic talent with a weekly stage. Owned and operatd by comedian Shawn Koch, The Comedy Grind has quickly garnered a reputation as the 'Funny Bone' of Saskatchewan. Laughter IS the best medicine.

Shawn Koch

While teaching in Montreal, after receivng his Bachelor of Education from McGill University, Shawn was bit by the comedy bug. Since then, he has performed in the Vancouver Comedyfest, Edmonton Fringe Festival, Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding and on various stages across Canada. His stage and screen credits include: Stargate SG-1, Supernatural, Psych, Masters of Horror and as 'Thunder Dog' in the soon to be released The Hard Cut. 

Currently, Shawn is hard at work raising his three year old son, co-hosting two radio shows on CJTR 91.3fm, announcing for the Pile O' Bones Derby Club and running The Comedy Grind.
